U.S. Postal Service Increasing Postage Rates

Several times a year, the US Postal budget is revised by the Postal Regulatory Commission with help from the Federal Government. In recent years, the majority of these meetings have resulted in postage increases. We know these changes impact the bottom lines of non-profits in a very immediate and direct way, and we want to share the latest announcement from the USPS.

Beginning January 22, the US Postal Service will raise postage rates as follows:

  • from $.60 to $.63 for first class letters

  • from $1.44 to $1.50 for 9×12 envelopes

  • from $2.04 to $2.13 for 9×12 envelopes with stamped reply envelopes

BCA is committed to helping find ways to offset the postal increases and will work with our clients to determine the best course of action.

We know that there have been a lot of changes and challenges within the mail and print industry the last few years. We are grateful for the partnerships with our clients as we’ve navigated these unique situations.
