MARC Capital Campaign Completed

As we begin the new year with a fresh set of goals, we at Brad Cecil & Associates are still celebrating the successes of 2019.  The year ended on a high note as one of our fantastic clients, MARC, in Midland, TX, completed their $7,000,000 capital campaign, Building Inspiration.  BCA was honored to be selected as the capital campaign counsel to partner with MARC for their campaign that achieved its fundraising goal in half the time expected!

Fundraising began in December 2018 with three generous lead gifts totaling $2,500,000.  A total of 69 individuals, corporations and foundations joined the Building Inspiration capital campaign and, within 12 months, the campaign goal of $7,000,000 had been met!  The funds raised will be used to make long-awaited improvements to MARC’s main campus in Midland, TX, including a new MARC Program Services Building, which will be called the Anwar Family Inspiration Center, Day Use Building and community park, which will be called Inspiration Park.  Thanks to these new facilities and amenities, MARC will be better suited to provide more dignified and expanded services to its clients, their families and the greater Permian Basin community.

BCA had the pleasure to work with some dedicated and talented staff and volunteers on the Building Inspiration capital campaign.  The vision and leadership of Executive Director Charlotte Bosecker, Board Chair and Capital Campaign Chair Brandon Black, and the Capital Campaign Committee directly lead this campaign to swift success.  Thanks to their commitment to the mission of MARC, they rallied the community behind this project in 12 short months in order to build a better tomorrow for the clients and families who depend on MARC’s services.

Founded in 1959, MARC serves 250 learning disabled clients each day through programs, resources, training and therapy for clients aged 18 months and older.  To learn more about MARC and its programs, please visit www.marctexas.org.
